      Hi Guys,

I'm sure that this issue had been opened many times but I really need help in this. I have been searching for around  6 days for a full proof and I couldn't find it so far, here is the situation :

I have followed the following how to :
      http://securite-ti.com/pfSense_Web_Proxy_with_multi-WAN_links.pdf

Thanks Demitri for the comprehensive how to it's really great

I have 2 links from the same ISP , when link one goes down the link two is taking over the sessions and every thing is fine but there are two findings:-

1.) There is a noticeable slowness when switching to the other link the site may take around 6 sec to open

2.) All HTTPS sites  it's not working at all and I got the following error in the browser "Error 111 (net::ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED): Unknown error."

Can someone give a help in this and I will be really grateful for him .

      Regards

check dns gateway configuration. maybe it's trying to resolv names using offline gateway.

Thanks for your response, but I think the problem is not on the DNS it self as it's working probably well with the HTTP, however I have configured the DNS through both gateways.

Yeah, it's working for both with no issue from proxy perspective, a new issue that I'm currently working on that there is a noticeable browsing slowness once i disable the firewall filtering the  browsing turned to be very fast ..
