Running virtual on ESXi 5, Intel physical NICs, Dell Hardware, running amd64 and comparing 2.0.1 RELEASE vs. 2.1 BETA0, built on 9/23/2012 @ 21:11 EDT. Running 2.0.1 and 2.1 on the exact same identical hardware and config (outside MAC addresses and serial numbers, and 2.1's WAN is a LAN static IP from my 2.0.1 production machine so the block private and bogon networks are NOT checked on 2.1).

On 2.0.1 I have a block of 5 statics so 6 interfaces (WAN plus 5 LANs for each static). On 2.0.1 I have my WAN and two most active LAN interfaces expanded on the "traffic graph" widget but the other four interface graphs are collapsed/hidden. When I hit save on 2.0.1 and then refresh the dashboard it keeps my changes.

On 2.1 Beta the Traffic Graphs default to ONLY the WAN traffic and when I expand any of the other interfaces the "save settings" button does not populate therefore I can not set the widget and save the settings.

Not sure if that's intentional or not… and in the grand scheme of things it's not a huge issue.

      Cheers!

EDIT: Also, just an observation since I'm running essentially the same setup on exact hardware... My memory usage is generally lower on 2.1 vs. 2.0.1 (and I'm load-testing behind Beta) but... Disk usage has been static at 47% on 2.1 BETA (across all the snapshot updates, etc.) whereas on 2.0.1 it's been exactly 17% for the last 204 days of up-time.

There is a little "tool" settings button on the Traffic Graphs widget itself. Click that, and it has a "Save Settings" button that saves the Traffic Graphs widget default state and refresh rate. It worked for me.

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."

Thank you. Appreciate the pointer. It worked perfectly.

Is this normal (or a known bug)? It says "can not get data about interface em1" constantly.

I can hit the WAN and even anything on the external network so I know that the LAN has traffic moving in/out.

Todaj I was trying to save that setting for traffic graphs on dasboard but Save button on traffic graph widget does not work.

It is not working in: Chrome, Firefox, IE9. In IE9 is double click needed on that small key icon.

              My build:
              2.0.2-RELEASE (i386)
built on Fri Dec 7 16:30:38 EST 2012
              FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p13

This thread is for 2.1, not 2.0.x.

That is a known issue in 2.0.x that is fixed in 2.1, and there already a few threads about it.
