    Here is the problem:

    I'd like to be able to monitor the status of the RAID array on PfSense.  I don't think there is a SNMP OID for that, but I found an utility, called amrstat, that ouputs the status of arrays.  It would be easy to simply do a 'amrstat | grep degraded' and based on the return code of grep, send an e-mail saying an array is degraded.  Another option would be to have nrpe installed by default, so that we could use nagios to monitor the health/status of the firewall.
