Can PFSense load balance internal services?

If I have 3 internal (private ip) servers running terminal server, can PfSense load balance them into an INTERNAL vip (also a private address)?  I've tried creating a pool of internal servers and also an internal vip that points to that pool, but I get nothing when I try to connect to that vip address.

Have you remembered to create a Virtual IP (Firewall -> Virtual IPs) ? It should be of type IP/other (if the target public IP is behind your firewall; i.e. routed through it) or Proxy ARP (if the target public IP is in the same subnet as your firewall external IP).
