I just set up my PFSense install on new hardware. A Dell Poweredge R200 with Intel Xeon CPU 3065 @ 2.33GHz. For some reason it is averaging about 70% CPU load.

My previous hardware was a desktop with a Intel Core i3 CPU and I don't remember it having anywhere close to that CPU load.

What is the best way to check what is utilizing that much CPU?

At the command line run 'top -SH'.
Using Diagnostics: System Activity: in the webgui will give similar results.

Ah, it was the BandwidthD plugin. I had that on the old box though. Strange…
