      Hi

We're trying to establish L2TP VPN for our clients to connect via pfSense to local network.
PPTP work great, but we're having problems with L2TP configuration. We used this tutorial http://thepracticalsysadmin.com/setting-up-an-l2tp-vpn-with-pfsense/
It seems that client just doesn't connect. It looks like there must be some kind of a bug on pfSense 2 ?
      Any ideas?

L2TP is purely L2TP, you're likely wanting L2TP+IPsec, which is not supported at this time in any version.

Thank you. So the only way to establish Client-Server VPN is to use PPTP or SSL VPN on pfSense ? L2TP will not work ?

            PPTP is considered broken.

So your options for roadwarriors would be OpenVPN or IPsec (note: Xauth + IKEv1, not IKEv2 or L2TP/IPsec)

Thanks ! Any news when L2TP/IPsec will be supported on pfSense ?

Also wondering when this will be available. Been looking forward to this feature as a replacement for PPTP VPN. Slightly disappointed when i learned that L2TP+IPSEC was not supported.
