I am just about to setup and have a play with my first pfsense box, i want to use it for the following:

      I have 1 lan
      I have 2 wan

I would like to shape the traffic between the lan and the dual wan's.

I see you can only traffic shape between 2 interfaces, does this mean I can not do what I want?

      Thanks

      Lee

        Correct, it's a no go.
A core pfsense box that splits the load between the two WANs and two upstream boxes performing traffic shaping. Is what you can do right now

There is a active bounty for this behavior.  Please contribute to it if you feel this feature is worthy.

I'm also interested in traffic shaping with multi-WAN.  I have tried various
setups in my pf.conf, but main problem is that I have to create unique queues
for each WAN interface.  I don't know how to assign packets going out on
my WAN interfaces to their respective queues.

Can you please briefly describe how you plan to implement your solution?

The specification for the traffic shaper project is written up rather well in the bounties section.  I recommend you read that thread and contribute.
