I searched for a few minutes but haven't found anything.  I'd like to do the following:

-I want to enable WAN access for remote administration of the pfsense firewall.
-I want to change the port number we use to log on.

Can you point me in the right place, please?

        • Simply add a proper rule on "Firewall/Rules/WAN" section
        • On "System/Advanced/Admin Access" set your preferred port in webConfigurator section

        This on v2.0.1/2.0.2

This worked perfectly.  I just had to make any/any for inbound/destination on the rule; I was stuck on that one for a couple minutes.

Inbound rule from any to WAN address and port number should work fine.  Any Any sounds a little dangerous.

You are better off setting up a VPN account if you need remote admin access. Accessing the web admin directly from WAN is a bad idea.
