I was going through the system log, and I came across this many times:

dhcpd: uid lease 192.168.1.188 for client 00:25:f6:01:8e:xx is duplicate on 192.168.1.0/24

I looked it up, and the MAC address is the Nettalk voip adapter. It was always a bit unstable, so in an attempt to stabilize it, I gave it a static lease of 192.168.1.101. If I try to access the Nettalk's built-in web server, I can access it at 101, but not 188. I have no idea whatsoever where 192.168.1.188 came from.

      Anyone know what this means?

      Thanks!

Perhaps you have multiple DHCP servers on your network.

Perhaps you have another system with IP address 192.168.1.188
