    Hi guys.

Am installing Apache with mod_security-dev but it is not finishing the installation. It stops as seen below:

Beginning package installation for Apache with mod_security-dev…
    Downloading package configuration file... done.
    Saving updated package information... done.
Downloading Apache with mod_security-dev and its dependencies...
    Checking for package installation...
    Downloading http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/ap22-mod_security-2.6.5_1.tbz ...  (extracting)
    Loading package configuration... done.
    Configuring package components...
    Additional files... done.
    Loading package instructions...
    Custom commands...
    Executing custom_php_resync_config_command()...

When I check installed packages I find it there but it does not even create a menu from which I can access it.

See attached image for better understanding

Where could I be going wrong?

    Thanks.

I've got the same problem, using pfsense 2.0.2.

I too am experiencing the same issues on 2.0.2, I've upgraded to 2.0.3 pre-release and same issues as well, it just seems to hang there.

I have exactly the same problem with installing Mod_Security.  The installation of pfsense is brand new with no other packages installed.  As you can see my screen capture looks exactly like reloded.  Seems like something is broken with the package. :(  Is there any chance of it working in the near future?  The URL forwarding feature looks like something I can really use.

            Same problem here.
I eventually blew my old installation away (Gutted - had served me well for a year) completely in a vain attempt to get this working on the latest version but alas, no joy!

            Install hangs here:- custom_php_resync_config_command

So, i really need this back up and running as I was utilizing the virtual host facility to enable multiple site hosting from the same IP.

If anyone can assist in helping to fix this, I shall happily reward 3 bitcoins for this to be resolved.

            Please msg me at:-

**** UPDATE - I managed to get this working, by installing the Proxy Server with mod_security package first and then Apache with mod_security-dev ****
