I currently have the 32 bit version installed, but I have 8gb of ram in the box. Is the 64 bit version less stable than the 32 bit? Thanks

They're virtually always no different. In a couple instances we've seen driver issues on 64 bit that weren't a problem on 32, but that's a couple out of many thousands.
