      Hello,

My pfSense box is a DHCP server and has 1 WAN interface and 1 LAN interface. I would like to configure traffic shaping (bandwidth limiting) per device. In the firewall section I can only create rules per interface? How can I limit the bandwidth per device? I want to avoid the situation where 20 users are connected and 1 user uses all the upload speed.

in firewall / traffic-shaper there is an option limiter use it to create pipe and write firewall rule  with it.

i think this topic has been discussed here before many times. do some searching u will get details.

without static dhcp  i think it will be difficult to shape a particular device/client.
