I would like pfsense to act as an area border router however it seems as though pfsense enables OSPF on a per-interface manner whereas with other vendors I can specify the routes I would like OSPF to cover.

Will this prevent me from doing a summary route? I have several /27's I would like to summarize (172.16.1.0/24) and advertise to another area.

The only thing I can think about is I could enable "redistribute kernel routes" and leave my interfaces blank, and then create an appropriate static route in pfsense, but then I am worried it will redistribute my entire kernel routing table, and it is quite large, and not really necessary.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

      Regards,
