Installed 2.0.3 to fix my graphs, and now no more XMLRPC.  Just get errors on the master when it tries to sync.  Appears pfsync of states is working.

      This is on release:

      2.0.3-PRERELEASE (amd64)
built on Fri Dec 7 22:39:43 EST 2012
      FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE-p13

Probably because it really can't communicate, missing a firewall rule, or has no network connectivity to the IP it's syncing to.

I can ping across the dedicated sync interface.
State table is stil being synced as well.
I can see the interface statistics for the sync interface increment showing traffic flowing, and no blocks.

It is just the XMLRPC stuff that throws the error and doesn't sync - I added a dummy rule to see if it would sync that and it did not.

I will schedule to reboot the primary tonight and see if it's just stuck somehow.

Make sure both master and slave have their GUIs on the same type/port, e.g. both https on 443, or whatever you want as long as they both match.
