Upgrade from console failure

recently i have noticed when i try to upgrade nanobsd on alix using console, it downloads and when installing upgrade always gives error of something like fstab and aborts

something went wrong when trying to update the fstab entry

when the console fails and then i try from webgui auto update, that too fails with same error and then the only thing that works is manually uploading the upgrade file to webgui and upgrading which takes ages to complete

There are enough of us that it is not a hardware problem with someone's CF card.
