I am having trouble accessing my website from outside my LAN. I have dynamic DNS set up correctly. I can ping my WAN address by name and IP. I have forwarded port 80 on the router to the webserver. The page comes up fine inside the LAN. What can I do to troubleshoot this?

I am running apache and debian 6 webserver.

The ISP is blocking port 80. IT is working now.

I wouldnt recommend hosting a website on a dynamic IP address. You better off going to a hosting provider. Its so cheap now days.

            Kind Regards,
            Craig

Why is it a bad idea to host a website off a dynamic ip address? I didn't want to pay for a hosting provider because I'm sooo poor. Every penny counts in this bad economy.

If you can afford to keep a server powered on 24/7 you can afford to host your website with someone lol

                Kind Regards,
                Craig

My webserver uses a low-powered atom processor and has about 99% down time. I keep it off most of the time. I just use it for testing purposes.
