Hi im using  2.0.2-RELEASE (i386). I have a problem about  Proxy filter SquidGuard. When i add a domain in the domain list under the target categories to block certain websites, the block does not take effect immediately i still need to reboot the system. in previous version pf pfsense 2.0.1 i just need to click the save button then go back to general settings then click apply then it will start blocking the added domain. since i upgraded to pfsense  2.0.2-RELEASE (i386) i then encountered this issue.

any help is greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

Are you hitting the APPLY button after SAVING?

I do not have any install on the old pfSense 2.01 or 2.02 having moved in to 2.1 Beta which works well.

On pfSense 2.1 Beta 64, Squid 3.1 Beta and SquidGuard work fine for us using Shalla's Black List.

Installing SquidGuard with the instructions here did not work for us  ???

I used the instructions from here:

            http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/security/security-howto/31468-build-your-own-utm-with-pfsense-part-3

On doing my constant upgrades to newer snapshots, the Shalla List disappears and I need to re-download.

As the Shalla List server sometimes goes down we download a copy separately, then upload to one of our servers as a backup so we can download.
