      The developer of TauVPN the Open Source windows IPSec client has released a new version 0.37 on sourceforge. http://sourceforge.net/projects/ivpn/ It has new features in that the ping to remote host can be disabled. For personal firewalls that do not allow outgoing pings.
      It automatically disconnects when the system enters suspend mode.
      This had been a problem for users who had a vpn connection to a wireless network. If the system entered suspend without disconnecting, the connection on the firewall stayed open. After resume it was not possible to connect - unless the connection on the firewall was reset.
      Bugfixes: Does not say "Connected to unknown host" under XP. Does not show
      error message when clicking into empty connection list.
