I'm just thinking about possible fallback strategies if something should go wrong with the update to pfSense 2.0.3.

I'm running slice ad2s1 of the 2G nanoBSD image (amd64, v2.0.1). I'd like to know, if the pfSense configuration is kept per boot slice or if it is common to both slices. I only suppose, it is kept per slice. If so, I should probably better import my current configuration to slice ad2s2. Could anybody please shed some light on it?

The config is common between slices. You should be able to switch back to the previous slice if you have problems with 2.0.3.

Thank you very much for your quick reply. The common configuration makes things even easier.
