      Hello,

we have in/outbound limiter and they work nice on pfsense 2.0.1 (2.0.2 has for us updating bug with init respawning too fast)

Today our 100 MBit line was often nearly full even now late in the evening.
Our internal proxy used full bandwith without special reason with 3 downloads without sending its data to an internal client.

Since I have done yesterday only small updates the reason is clear and i could set it back:

=> For BGP routing I added the floating rule to match any tcp packet "Quick" with state type: "sloppy state".

When I just deactivated the rule the traffic went instantly down to 50 MBit and less…

=> I think its a bug that later firewall rules can't add limiter configuration because normally I/we wan't limit not globally but on net/ip based

If it's not a bug but a feature: what have I overseen?

      Bests

      Reiner
