Hey guys, I decided to swap my pfsense system hard drive to a new pc.  It works fine except that it needs my input to boot properly.  It gets stuck at the screen that is f1 Pfsense, f6 PXE.  It has f5 marked as the default input and just keeps repeating the # symbol.   Once I hit 1 on the keyboard it boots and runs perfectly.  Any ideas how I can fix it so f1 is default?

I was able to fix it.  First i tried removing the prompt altogether via http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Remove_F1_Boot_Prompt .  I didn't really expect it to work since it wasn't defaulting incorrectly (it didn't work).

I got my install disk and just reinstalled the bootloader from it.  All is well now.
