      I got a server year 2001 DELL PowerEdge 6400. I want to use for PFSense purpose. Please help me how to configure and to boot from cdrom for these server. I already download pfSense-1.0.1-LiveCD-Installer.iso.gz  and burn it to the CD. Please help me. ??? ??? ???

        Grab the 1.2RC1 ISO and burn that instead.

        As for booting the PE6400 from CD, when you power it up watch the boot screen.  It'll tell you how to either access the boot menu or the BIOS setup.  Change the boot order to put the CD-ROM first.

          I already do that. I change to CD drive for first boot, but i doesn't work.  ???

            Might have helped if you'd said that…

            How did you burn the ISO to the CD - what package did you use?
