I've updated system to PfSense 1.0.1 a while ago but I see it is still running

6.0-RC1 FreeBSD 6.0-RC1 #1: Sun Oct 30 20:04:35 UTC 2005

On other box with 1.0.1 I have FreeBSD 6.1 kernel and I have no idea why there is such difference

Any hints ?

From a shell:

rm /boot/kernel/kernel

Reinstall the update. Reboot.
