      Hi ALL,

      I am new to pfSense and trying to install pfSense-2.0.2-RELEASE-i386 (Download File Name: pfSense-LiveCD-2.0.2-RELEASE-i386.iso.gz released on 08-Dec-2012 20:13 ) on  DELL D160L desktop which has

      WAN –-> bfe0 - Broadcom BCM4401 Fast Ethernet
      LAN ----> rl0 - Realtek 8139 10/ 100BaseTX
      OPT1 --> rl1 - Realtek 8139 10/ 100BaseTX
      OPT2 --> fxp0 - Intel 82559 Pro/100 Ethernet

      I can configure everything on the LIVE CD and the configuration works fine.

      When I try to install the system by choosing the option #99 from the console menu, the installer is stuck forever displaying

      "Waiting for backend".

      I searched the forums, but could not find any resolution.

      How to resolve this ?
