Hard Drive Usage

I have looked through the web gui but I could not see where you could check how much space was used on the hard drive that pfsense is installed on. Can this be checked via the web gui and if not how do you check it?

The command to check disk space on FreeBSD is
df
Run the command from the pfSense console shell.

Run the command from the pfSense console shell.
Or from the web GUI in Diagnostics -> Command Prompt - type the command in the Command box and click on the Execute button immediately below the command box.
In most circumstances there is no cause for concern about file system use. My main pfSense box (a "full" install) has been running over 4 years on a 1GB solid state disk module. A poorly configured package MIGHT cause disk space problems.

For easier to read results try df -h
From my system running just the basic 64 bit install:
[root@pfsense.home]/root(1): df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity Mounted on /dev/ad12s1a 54G 217M 49G 0% / devfs 1.0K 1.0K 0B 100% /dev /dev/md0 3.6M 46K 3.3M 1% /var/run devfs 1.0K 1.0K 0B 100% /var/dhcpd/dev

You can see it on the dashboard at the bottom, the main page after you login.
I'm using 2.1 -
Thanks everyone. That got me the information I was looking for.
