I am running pfSense 2.0.2 i386 on a Celeron 3.06GHz system with 1GB of RAM and a 40GB hard drive.

We have Time Warner Business class with 50mbps down and 5mbps up.
Each time I enable the transparent proxy and run a speed test, I only get 34-36mbps: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2599960640.png
Every time I disable the transparent proxy, I get my advertised speeds: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2599956627.png

What can I do to get the full speeds even with the transparent proxy enabled?

I think I figured it out. I removed the beta package of Squid3 and installed regular Squid (Squid2) and I'm getting the same download speeds as when the transparent proxy is enabled or disabled.

        Sweet.

Carry on the fine work, guys!
