      Hello all,

I've seen in a few articles/threads that floating rules are "last matching".
In the pfSense Traffic Shaping Guide at http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Traffic_Shaping_Guide, it's mentioned that "They are evaluated before the interface rules, and are non terminating. The last floating rule that matches a stream will be the one that applies."

      Questions:
      1. Does this mean that even the "Quick" option doesn't have any effect on floating rules?
      2. What if we choose the "Queue" action? "Quick" doesn't have any effect in this case either?

      Thanks for any clarification.

For floating rules last matching is the default. Unless you set the quick option.
        So:
1: No, it does have the effect of stopping process of any further rules.
2: If you choose the queue option and quick, then it will put that traffic in a queue and stop processing any further rules. Quick is still in play in this situation also.
