Need Help in direction for packagages

I am looking to replace all of the functionality of my SonicWall routers. So far I can do most with PFSense. I need some direction of what packages to add for the following functions:
Gateway AV scanning - packet level
Scanning for bots incomming - packet level
Content filtering - (I am looking at squid at the moment)JP

You can use HAVP for virus scanning but it will only scan http traffic.
Incoming bots? Not quite sure what you mean. Snort probably.
Web filtering can be done with Squid and either squidguard or dansgurdian (or just using ACLs in squid directly).
