Wireless dual channel
-
have some way to make a pfsense wireless access point (or freebsd itself) use 2 or more channels at same time ?.
thanks.

Depends what you mean.
I think there is some support the Atheros SuperG mode which combines two G channels to get 108Mbps. Probably not what you mean though.Steve

Thanks for answer.
I understand about the superg mode, but like you said, is in other way.
I'm looking something like: ifconfig wlan0 channel 3, 8, 11
If the support not exist, have some programmer to do this ?.
I'm interested in pay this. -
You can have multiple ssids on one access point (virtual access points) but they have to be on the same channel. I don't believe it's possible to have the radio tune to more than one frequency. Not a software limitation. I could be wrong. ;)

If you can find an external, Ethernet connected WiFi device that does the multiple wireless connections you want it might be your best option.
-
You need one wlan-card per frequency you want to run an access point on.

If you mean N channel bonding, then pfsense/freebsd drivers don't support single N mode anyway, so there is currently no way to do this on pfsense.

Thanks to everyone.
I look Adrian Chadd about this in he's blog and is not possible make this function. In AP mode is possible just one channel at time.Best Regards
