How would I make my pfsense machine boot straight to safe mode? It won't boot to normal, but it does to safe.

Nevermind, found out how to set DMA to be off and that worked :

After the installation, add the following line to /boot/loader.conf:

If you have to disable DMA for your hard drive(s):

hw.ata.ata_dma=0
