I need to log Bandwidth for each client. and I used to use BandwidthD but it's been very quirky for me.

A few days a go I installed the latest release of PFSense. 2.0.3-RELEASE (i386)

      I installed BandwidthD

and upon booting into PFSense I am halted with message

"Enter full pathname of shell or RETURN for /bin/sh:"

if I hit the enter button I am stuck at the command prompt, the system appears to be up and running but my pf screen is stuck at this screen and when I attempt to access bandwidthD and I get
"bandwidthd has nothing to graph. This message should be replaced by graphs in a few minutes. If it's not, please see the section titled "Known Bugs and Troubleshooting" in the README "

Anyone else having similar issues, should I remove the package completely.  Is there an alternative to measuring total bandwidth at each client?

      Thanks for any advice.
