Hi I'm running RC1 with latest snapshot->to RC2 about 1 day old right now.
I'm running Dashboard, snort, bandwidthd and miniunpnp.
I have a couple of VIP's and a couple of 1 to 1 nats with them.

I have installed and run about a dozen installs of pfsense since beta came out but I have never seen
anything indicating UPnP was working. It shows the service as working in services but
it never shows a report or anything at all in the interface.??
I am also confused as to why there is a default UPnP with pfsense and a package available .
Which is the right one to use?
Should I just run the default ?
Should I run the package over the top of the default ?
Should I uninstall the default? (how)?

searched the forums nothing relevant has come up.
      Cheers

The UPnP package was created before UPnP was integrated into the base pfSense install. You should not install the UPnP package if your version of pfSense has it built in. It is disabled by default. You can change the settings and select the interface for it to run on via the webgui -> services -> upnp. You can view the current port mappings via the webgui -> status -> upnp.
