    Hello

    Is it possible to divide bandwidth to each computer on the internal network

    I will formulate better

    I have a 10 MB download

    4 to 10 computers Are connected at any given moment

    I want to give a specific computer bandwidth capacity I will decide

    Example
    Computer A receives bandwidth of 2 MB Download
    Computer B receives bandwidth of 1 MB Download
    Computer C receives bandwidth of 1 MB Download
    Computer D receives bandwidth of 3 MB Download

    Etc. etc. etc.

    I want to the restriction will be at the level of ip
    Any computer
    Receives the ip would be limited by the restriction triggered on the ip
    Does not matter what point It is connected

    How can I do it?

        @marvosa:

        Firewall -> Traffic Shaper -> Limiter tab

        Then you need to assign or make rule for that ip like this

          Might I jump in to ask a question that relates to this? Is the following possible:

          • My download server gets unlimited download unless my wife or me are using the internet;

          • Then the download server is automatically capped off during that time, and gets full bandwith again if neither my wife nor me are using the internet.

          The reason I ask is: currently I have to restrict the server bandwith manually in the morning (on the server self), and cancel that restriction at night (so it can download at full speed while we are sleeping).

          Sometimes my wife is up earlier than I am (so she will suffer from not having sufficient bandwith since that hasn't been restricted yet), the other times I simply forget to do it (and when I come home I meet an angry mrs.  :-[).

          Would this be possible?

          Thank you in advance for any reply  ;D

                  Many thanks
                  It works
                  Now anyone in my family can do what he wants on his computer without choke the line

                  Little question
                  The video is showing how to add the restrictions on the IP address

                  Where should select Line-in \ line-out
                  In the video he shows to choose first line-out \ Line-in

                  I tried it both ways
                  the option in the video work Excellent

                  So I guess it's only mistake of the Web page PFSENSE

                      You can use the traffic shaper to lower the priority of the protocol (bit torrent?) being used by your download server. Whenever any other traffic is present on your network during the day (you and/or your wife surfing, checking email, etc.), the download server throughput is suppressed. At night, when nothing else is using your bandwidth, the server gets full access.
