Machine has previously had Squid 2 (had some issues, thought I'd give 3 a try):

Beginning package installation for squid3 .
      Downloading package configuration file… done.
      Saving updated package information... done.
The squid3 package is not installed.

      Installation aborted.Backing up libraries...
The squid3 package is not installed.

      Deletion aborted.Cleaning up... done.
      Failed to install package.

      Installation halted.

        Could be related to this:
        https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense-packages/commit/a5e6a82f8c0ca8006c9dbb4fbf9007baad7f0cd0

marcelloc updated squid for 3.1 to 3.3 and it could be possible that not all dependencies are yet compiled. This will probably need some time until a developer will start the builders and the .pbis are up.

Should be fixed by this commit:
          https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense-packages/commit/16372c9e552c3995964397c9077a89a01c46a691

Give it a few minutes and try again.

Installed now. When will Squid3 be updated to a more current version than 3.1? Thanks!
