Dansguardian: Error reading PICS file
-
pfSense: 2.0.3-RELEASE (amd64)
Dansguardian: 2.12.0.3 pkg v.0.1.8 - latest manual download of binary as of 5/3/13I've started to play with the Pics filtering this week and have run into a snag. When I enable it, DG fails to start successfully.
In Services, Dansguardian, ACLs, Pics, default (edit), everything is still at the default config/setting.
In Services, Dansguardian, Groups, default (edit), Group Options I select to hightlight Enable PICS rating support (off) to enable it. Everything else on the page is set to default values.At that point DG stops working and in the system log I notice the following entry:
May 3 12:41:25 php: /pkg_edit.php: The command '/usr/local/etc/rc.d/dansguardian.sh start' returned exit code '1', the output was 'kern.ipc.somaxconn: 16384 -> 16384 kern.maxfiles: 131072 -> 131072 kern.maxfilesperproc: 104856 -> 104856 kern.threads.max_threads_per_proc: 4096 -> 4096 Starting dansguardian. May 3 12:41:25 dansguardian[36826]: Error reading PICS file: /usr/local/etc/dansguardian/lists/g_DefaultSo I navigate to /usr/local/etc/dansguardian/lists/ and notice that there is no file called g_Default. I do have the following files that could be what DG is looking for:
pics
pics.Default
pics.sampleDo I need to rename a file or do something else?
Thanks.

I concur with sir awsiemieniec, that there is a problem with the script that generates dansguardianf1.conf. I tried running /usr/local/etc/rc.d/dansguardian.sh and the same problem exist. Please verify, Thanks.
I am using pfsemse 2.0.3 (x64)
Dansguardian: 2.12.0.3 pkg v.0.1.8
