      Hi Guys,

Codel in ALTQ is only available by choice under interface tab. Not listed as option in wizards..

They are still building out code to implement CoDel properly. Wait a few days, I'm sure it'll be half working soon enough. There are even a few commits that didn't make it into the latest snapshot (20130506-1654)

There can be no integration for CODEL in the wizard since it still does not make sense to me.
If you put codel as the scheduling policy on the interface, i would recommend on WAN only, you have nothing to tweak apart the bandwidth value.
There are no sub queues or anything like that in this variant and nothing to be configured on rules.

If you want to activate codel on an existing traffic shaper configuration you go to the queue where you want to activate and click codel option and save/apply.
That will put codel as the queue management.

But in the wizard there is no sense to put codel as i told you as there is no option for RED/ECN/RIO and there si no sense to put codel there since its parameter less as a scheduling policy for the whole interface.

            Ok, thanks Ermal..

I'm going to hush-up now, because I somewhat understand HFSC use on WAN, and barely on LAN.

However, if I understand what you're saying about CODEL, then all I need to do is simply go to the Interfaces tab, and under WAN, select CODEL and that's it …

            Thanks, Jits.
