I have tryed to upgrade Alix board with 2.0.1 RELEASE to 2.0.3 over web ui over ssh tunnel. Every time unit fails to reboot after installation. It does not boot even to secondary slice. This means that you can't remotly manage pfsense. Now I have to driver 400km to box and fix it.

Any idea whats going wrong? Can't see any errors in logs?

Check the upgrade log (viewable from Diag > NanoBSD)

Difficult to say for sure what might have happened, but from 2.0.1 to 2.0.3 isn't a very drastic update.

It would be better to see both the upgrade log and the console output from the time of the upgrade, if you can get it.
