Install on a soakris with embeded wich to choose?

Wich image to choose if you want to install on a soakris appliance?
m0n0 i have now but want the captive portal so then pfsense is what i want

Which Soekris box do you have? What size install media?

You probably want this image:

It's for a 1GB card but will work fine on larger cards.

It`s this one.
I use an 4GB flash so the space is not a problem.

I will try it later if i find my nullmodem cable

pfSense will not run in less than 128MB RAM so you might be out of luck. :(

But, yeah, m0n0wall has captive portal anyway. ???

This particular Soekris box seems quite low on both RAM and CPU … For the past 4-5 years people have been using the Alix 2d3 http://www.pcengines.ch/alix2d3.htm board for this task.

Btw, even if you use 4GB flash, you might still want to use the 1GB image of pfSense (it'is supposed to help prolong the CF card's life, due to how the wear-levelling algo works)
