Is it possible to create Loopback interfaces to witch you can assign an IP address to? I kind of did a work around by making a vlan then assigning it to a interface, but that's a waist of a vlan and a lot of work just to make a Loopback interface. I know that Pfsense is a firewall first, router and call manager (everything else) second. Would love to see this added as a feature.

        hi,

you can assign a loopback interface with shellcmd package. i have done this for all route rid with quagga ospf.

let me know if this can fit your needs.
