      Greetings all,

I need help ASAP! I have a watchguard X750E with the pfsense 2.0.3 release on a 4GIG compact flash card. My current configuration looks like this: Port 0 on the box is SK0 on the pfsense box and is up and working Port 1 on the box is SK1 and is connected to my wireless. If i add any other connections to the Watchguard the box shutdowns  ??? ??? Anyone know what might be going on?

      Thanks

        Sounds very odd.

You mean just physically connecting to the ports or assigning the interfaces?

When you say shutsdown you mean it starts the shutdown process or you mean it cuts the power instantly?
        Does it restart again?

        Steve

          Steve,
When I say shutdown I mean the WAN connection shutdowns on the box itself. I then have to disable the newly added port and it works again.

            Hmm, OK.
Well I'd first look at the system log for the time when you enable the new interface.

Which port are you adding? Does it matter?

Presumably it doesn't stop the LAN interface since you are able to disable the new port again. What type of WAN connection are you using?

              Steve,

I have to power off the box and then access it again. All interfaces are shut down until I do so!!!
