i have a wierd problem, on one of my system when i use a FDQN in alias i dont see any errors and on another system as soon as i type out a FQDN and save i start getting errors, can some1 tell me if adding FQDN in alias is valid?

FQDN as facebook.com and type as host

Using an FQDN in aliases is fine, either host or network type.

What is the error you receive?

actually i figured out the issue, if the alias is named as block then the below error is generated

There were error(s) loading the rules: /tmp/rules.debug:24: syntax error - The line in question reads [24]: table persist...

php: : The command '/sbin/pfctl -nf /tmp/rules.test.packages' returned exit code '1', the output was '/tmp/rules.test.packages:17: syntax error'

once u rename it to somethign else it resolves so probably a check would be required so ppl dont use block as a alias name

I just pushed a fix for that so it will refuse an alias called "block".
