      Hello-

I've been running on a Supermicro SYS-5015A-EHF-D525 (2.03 nano on usb stick) for about 40 days with 0 issues. Today I found that the box was powered off for some reason. I was able to use the Supermicro IPMI to power the box back up, and all came back up normal. IPMI doesn't show any errors or power events. Other equipment on the same UPS has the 40 day uptime.

So it seems that something happened to shut the Supermicro/PFSense box down, but I'm not sure what. I'm not good with Linux so I don't know if I can go look at logs somewhere to see if something crashed or if someone pushed the front panel power button. I'm also not sure if these logs are kept since I'm running nano.

Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

If it powered itself off, the usual suspect is heat.
