USB Keyboard Help!

OK im try to get pfSense install on my box and well im doing it by USB install every time i get to the main menu that let select how you want to boot im trying to press 3 but it wont work. i've pressed every number but nothing works why will my keyboard not work ???. it work after the timer runs out and it picks the default action and before in the bios i've tried install as so but no luck its saying it cant format the HDD and all this other stuff. if any knows why please some help would be nice. thanks.

Perhaps you don't have USB keyboard support enabled in the BIOS. When you get to that menu can you toggle the state of the appropriate indicator LED by pressing the CAPS LOCK or NUM LOCK key?

Usually its the keyboard driver. The keyboard driver is in the BIOS until the OS takes control of the keyboard. At the menu you displayed the OS has not taken control of the keyboard because it has not yet probed the buses to determine what devices are present.

Have you fixed the keyboard issue?
Please post a screenshot of the "cylinders out of range" problem.
What harddrive are you using (brand model and size)?

The issues have not been resloved but im just going to run pfSense off usb till i can get better hardware.

if you have a spare ps/2 use it, for the sake of installing pfsense on your box.
