Do queues on outbound WAN also apply to response packets exiting LAN?

If I apply qHTTP on WAN (Direction = Out, Dest. Port = 80), will it also apply according to the definition of qHTTP on LAN when response packets leave the LAN interface. qHTTP on LAN has different settings.

Does it simply search for the matching queue name and apply each interface's respective definition of it?

The state for that connection will be assigned to qHTTP.  If the return packets for that state goes out the LAN interface it will get assigned to qHTTP on the LAN too.

That's why it is a good idea to have queues with the same names on both LAN and WAN ;)

If it ain't broke, you haven't tampered enough with it
