      I am trying to install Apache With ModSecurity package in pfSense 2.1. But it halts forever (for more than 12 hours) at:

      Installing Apache with mod_security-dev and its dependencies.

      Loading package instructions…
      Custom commands...
      Executing custom_php_resync_config_command()...

      Any inputs!

        You could solve this problem.
        It is also happening to me.

          There are two packages:

          1. Apache with ModSecurity
          2. Proxy Server with ModSecurity

          in the packages list.

          The second one gets installed without any hicks, but the former one does not seem to work, at least for me.

            Exactly. Is it possible to install apache manually via shell.

              Even with that error, the option appeared in the menu.
              When trying to use returned an error in the file / usr / local / pkg / apache_mod_security.inc
              line 169.
              Typo:

              Before: $ setting = sarray ();

              Fix for: $ settings = array ();

              It's working.
