Ok, first, i KNOW 2.1 isn't released but we are on the RC portion.

question is this, I seem to have figured out everything i need to do, to fix all the quirks, on the x750e,
      with 2.0.3.

now question is, before i dive feet first trying to get all the tweaks/extras working,
has anyone else upgraded to 2.1RC yet?

obviouslly the "issues" are fan control, powerd (speedstep), LCD, network LEDs,
now feel most shouldn't be an issue, but we are up to freeBSD 9, so i'm semi concerned about the network LEDs driver (only because i havn't dived into it yet)

I WILL be attempting this, once my new CPU/RAM/PSU comes in, just was hoping someone did a bit first. hate to redo what isn't needed.

      EDIT :
MODS! I feel that i might have been mistaken when added this as a new topic…. feel free to move to the correct thread if i am incorrect with my placement!

Everything should work except the network LEDs. The modified driver modules are built against FreeBSD 8.1 so won't load in an 8.3 environment. It should be relatively easy to apply the mods and rebuild them against 8.3 however.
