      Hi everyone,

I'm just wondering if there is a setting somewhere in the firewall to change the default filename that the Client Export Utility gives to something of the user's choice.

We are planning to use this for a reasonable sized deployment and we'd prefer to have a name for the VPN that was easier to recognize for the users

We are using the OpenVPN 2.3 client install for windows.

      Thanks for your assistance

There isn't currently a way to set a custom filename, it's automatically derived from a few things such as the firewall's hostname, VPN port, username, etc.

Ok, I guess we'll either script it for post installation or just leave it alone.

It does seem like it could be a useful feature for a future release though.

          Thanks for the info.

@jimp after so many years, searching in the forum came to this post.

I need to rename the config file for the export, to be more clearly named. Is there any way to have it in the Additional configuration options ?
