Migrating from smoothwall to pfsense.

i'm thinking of moving over from smoothwall express 3.0 to pfsense and i have a few questions.
my smoothwall setup at the moment consists of dansguardian (solely for anti-virus and not blocking pron etc…) , url filtering (for adblocking), ids and guardian active response.
i'm looking to make the move and want to make sure i can get the same functionality with pfsense, primarily adblocking with regular expressions, i'm hoping to extend that to filtering https as well, is that doable ?
i want to perhaps implement some antiviral scanning of imap email if at all possible (not a deal breaker for moving to pfsense).
finally, i'm looking to use a hp54l microserver with the stock 2gb of ram and 250gb hard drive, it has a 2.2 ghz dual core amd turion processor, will this be sufficient for my needs, a home network feeding 5 computers and one offsite pc requiring access to a database hosted here.
