      I've been thinking about this for some time.  Mostly because I've been having intermittent issue with my cable provider.  The provider doesn't give a hoot about the native WAN quality RRD graphs/data.

      Now the cable modem cant be queried programaticly/SNMP.  So I thought that a process could scrape the URL of the cable modem, harvest the data and recording it ultimately being expressed as an RRD graph inside the pfSense WebUI.  This data then could be used to work with support.

      I'm sure a 1 off solution could be created.  Good for me.  What about something generic enough to cover 70% of the solutions out there without bloating the distribution and opening it up to varnablitys.
