Intel H77 with Qualcomm Atheros 1 GB LAN



  • Dear All,

    I have problem with my motherboard that use Intel Chipser H77 with Qualcomm Atheros 1 GB LAN.

  • I suggest you try a pfSense 2.1 snapshot build. pfSense 2.1 is based on FreeBSD 8.3 which has much more up to date device drivers than FreeBSD 8.1 which is used in pfSense 2.0.x.



  • Is it safe in production env?
    I mean upgrade to snapshot from Relase 2.0.3?

  • Generally the snapshots are "good enough" but there are sometimes problems with particular snapshots or certain features of particular snapshots.
